Michael is an associate at McCue Sussmane Zapfel & Cohen P.C., where he primarily works with the firm’s entertainment group. Michael’s practice includes representing financiers and creatives involved in the motion picture industry from the early development of feature films and through production. He structures and negotiates agreements for individuals and companies on all sides of the entertainment industry. Michael works with a wide range of clients including financiers, directors, producers, casting directors, writers and on-screen talent.
Michael also represents clients in commercial litigation matters involving contract and employment disputes as well as claims pertaining to intellectual property rights.
Prior to joining McCue Sussmane Zapfel & Cohen P.C., Michael worked for a litigation law firm where he represented clients in matters involving violations of federal and state securities laws as well as violations of Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA) rules.
Michael graduated from St. John’s University School of Law in 2016, where he served as the Executive Articles Editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. During his time as a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, Michael also wrote and published articles on pertinent bankruptcy law issues.
Michael is fluent in French.
