Ken Sussmane is an attorney admitted to practice in New York. Ken received his J.D. Degree from Georgetown University Law Center and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Ken practices in the areas of corporate, securities, real estate and entertainment law. Ken commenced his career as an attorney at CBS, Inc., where he specialized in international taxation for the entertainment industry. At age 29, Ken became a partner at a New York City law firm where he continued to practice in all areas of federal taxation and expanded his practice to include the areas of securities, corporate and real estate law. Ken has represented a myriad of real estate funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, and other issuers in private placement transactions.

In 1988, Ken co-founded Sussmane & Zapfel, P.C. and expanded his practice to include the representation of models, photographers, recording artists, actors, model agencies, photographic agencies, talent agencies and production companies. Ken also represents several pre-eminent restaurants and nightclubs throughout New York City. Ken counsels his clients in connection with financing, construction, operations and international licensing.
